Tools

Maths in Health is dedicated to creating open and freely available tools that support transparent, reproducible, and innovative health research.

Our eq5dsuite tools

The EQ-5D is one of the most widely used instruments for measuring health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and is recommended by health technology assessment (HTA) agencies in more than 29 countries. It captures information through a descriptive system, a visual analogue scale (VAS), and derived utility values. To promote standardized and transparent analysis of EQ-5D data, we have developed eq5dsuite—a set of freely available tools for calculating utility values and reporting EQ-5D results. These tools are available for R, Stata, and Excel, and are designed to support consistent, reproducible, and robust EQ-5D analysis.

R Package

Flexible and open-source scripts for EQ-5D utility analysis.
